SECURE project partner, the Association of Local Authorities in Västernorrland (ALAV) participated in the 2018 Welfare Conference by providing information about the SECURE project. The conference participants were both politicians and officials from all over the region. ALAV presented what has been done in the work on energy savings at the retirement home, Ärebo, in Sollefteå.

Visitors also got a brief introduction on how to use a digitized solar map to see which parts of a specific roof fits best for solar panels and how much electricity that can be produced.
