About Green Door Festival
Now into its fourth year running, the Green-Door Festival is a unique and quite extraordinary Leitrim based event that celebrates rural architecture, design and sustainable living with talks and house visits all over the county. This year’s event will kick off at The Dock Arts Centre with a debate and discussion on Friday 29th at 7.30pm.
The aim of the festival is to showcase examples of homes and work by builders and architects who have worked hard over the years to experiment with alternative ways of building, living and designing, allowing people the opportunity to share and network.
Green Door Ireland has an amazing programme of events including speakers from Ireland, UK and Berlin as well as exhibitions, workshops, talks, films and children’s activities to complement the open homes. The weekend is mainly free although there is a small charge for some events to cover the costs.
It will be an excellent and informative weekend. For more information on the event, visit the online brochure.
