Ärebo and Solatum working together

The public housing company Solatum and the elderly care home Ärebo in Sollefteå work together in the SECUREnpa project.

Solatum wishes to cooperate more with the staff at Ärebo. An important part of the project is to find out how Solatum as owner of the building, can reach soloutions together with the staff to reduce electricity consumption. There is a work group at Ärebo consisting of assistant nurses, janitors, operating technicians and Solatum cleaning team. The group members work together to make all employees and residents more aware of the environment and energy use in order to reach understanding, reduce energy consumption and influence behaviour. They also regularly review the technical equipment in the house and document identified problems that can affect the energy use.

One goal in the project is to increase energy efficiency by at least five percent.
