SECURE's partners in Finland from the Karelia University of Applied Sciences have organised a workshop to share knowledge and expertise to achieve an oil free region.

The Roadmap towards fossil oil-free and low-carbon North Karelia is designed in collaboration with several EU projects and by continuous discussion with stakeholders and citizens. During the workshop, held the 3rd of March, the core roadmap team planned the next public workshops to be held within the next months: 21st March “bioeconomy and circular economy”  and 4th April “sustainable traffic solutions”. Full roadmap will be ready for comments after summer this year.
